在过去一年中我们始终秉承“体育使我们站立起来，科技使我们强大起来，文化使我们厚实起来，道德使我们高远起来”的核心理念，并围绕以下三个方面开展工作：
一、增强团员意识夯实组织建设，做到“建设一个网络阵地，完善两类工作制度，搭建三个工作平台，做好四种教育实践”
建设一个网络阵地：我们在全校范围内首创了团委学生会工作团体博客，目前的累计访问量达到了3万6千余次，有文章360余篇，图片专辑60余个，视频专辑17部。团委博客给了提升了团委的工作效率，改进了工作方法，是学院团委信息化建设上的一个里程碑。
完善两类制度：即规范了常规制度，创新了激励制度。完善了财务管理制度，档案管理制度等。同时，为了激发创意，挖掘潜能，我们制订了例如“每月三星”、“大嘴巴”奖、“分享计划”等激励机制。
搭建三个平台：“团委组织建设平台”为基础，“支部全面成长平台”为核心，“干部培养平台”为关键。做好党建带团建工作和团员推优工作，在党支部分获07年广西区优秀学生支部和广西区先进基层党组织等多项荣誉的情况下，学院05级团总支和_班团支部分别作为学校唯一的推荐集体参加了区优秀团总支和团支部的评选。院团委重视团支部的指导工作和优秀团员、优秀团支部的评优工作，分别组织06、07级各支部开展了创建“五四”红旗团支部评优答辩活动。同时还加强对学院科协、记者团等8个院级社团的指导和帮扶工作。

“五四”运动是中国人民彻底反对帝国主义和封建主义的一次爱国运动，标志着中国新民主主义革命的开始。从此，城市里飘荡起战斗的交响；乡村里荡漾着凯歌的旋律；江河中扬起搏击者的风帆。穿过历史的烽烟，漫步历史的长廊，两千年的封建统治，百余年的殖民奴役。
长江在流泪，黄河在啜泣，
